RECycleing Your Power
SAF Grant
As their lead PR, communications and outreach organizer I created their name, website and collaborated on their logo with a designer. RECycling Your Power is a Sustainable Action Fund large grant project I worked on for over a year at Western Washington University. I gained valuable experience working with grants, unfamiliar technology and working with multiple departments.
We achieved our goal January 7, 2016 when the SAF committee granted us funding.

Marketing Blog Content
I am no stranger to copy editing and writing blog content. A good portion of my day at both Case Design/Remodeling and the American College of Phlebology was writing and editing content. For Case I edited blogs an agency wrote and at ACP I wrote event specific articles to entice attendees to register.

I also wrote a blog article on how to draw millennials away from the craft beer industry for a certification course in social media from Coursera and Northwestern University. As their audiences are starting to overlap with the craft beer industry, wine marketers need to understand how to create loyal customers and not lose them to a craft brewery creating a lifestyle image more appealing.
I use different articles or references to help guide my blog along and to support my theories as I'm not a thought leader in either industry.

Email Marketing
At Case Design/Remodeling and the American College of Phlebology I designed and wrote email marketing content targeting different audiences.
At Case I wrote newsletters and seminar reminder emails through Constant Contact. I streamlined their seminar reminder processes by using their email system and not individually sending them out.
Throughout my experience at the American College of Phlebology, I created event marketing emails targeting specific audiences by manipulating their database.

This event marketing email was to help support the American College of Phlebology Foundation market it's golf outing to entice doctors, nurses, industry leaders social together while supporting an organization they trust to advance venous an lymphatic care.

I designed all their emails through Informz using HTML, following brand standards and sent it to different audiences based on different criteria in their database of registered attendees and members.

Remodeling Portfolio
At Case Design/Remodeling I was in charge of managing their online portfolio. I wrote a backstory about the client, painting a picture of who they were and their motives for remodeling along side a visual story of the remodel itself with a pre-created layout.
